The 13th Annual Archdiocesan Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday March 6, 2021. The Man Up Philly volunteer team is finalizing our plans for the 2021 Conference and we have a fantastic line-up of speakers confirmed.
Given the current environment, our focus is working to find ways to safely bring us together. We are currently evaluating multiple options from smaller gatherings in local parishes to larger gatherings in local high schools, and if not feasible, an all virtual conference via a live webcast. Either way, we want to bring this great day to you to help all of us focus on our faith and reliance on Our Lord.
Now is the time to commit yourself to growing and enriching your Faith, along with inviting brothers, fathers, sons, and friends.

Our speaker lineup for 2021 is dynamic and focuses on service. We welcome for the first time Bishop Joe Coffey, auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Military Services, who was previously a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is in active chaplain service with the U.S. Navy.
We also welcome Col Tom Manion, who served in the Marine Corps for over 30 years. Colonel Manion founded the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) to support our military, the families of the fallen and to help create the next generation of leaders after the loss of his son, 1st Lt. Travis Manion USMC, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in April 2007.
We welcome back acclaimed Irish tenor, Mark Forrest, who will again provide inspirational accompaniment during a special Eucharistic Adoration.
The Conference will conclude with Saturday Mass (not the Sunday Vigil) celebrated by Archbishop Nelson J. Perez.
On Saturday, March 6, 2021, men are invited to join Catholic men from throughout the Archdiocese for a day focused on fellowship and ways to live your faith everyday.

Men need a “Foundation” to build upon. Men need someone to count on. Men need each other. Because men are constantly being attacked in an increasingly secular society. We are falling victim more and more to the temptations of alcohol, drugs, pornography, choosing work over our families and other sins that keep us from fulfilling the responsibilities God created us for.
2232 MEN live the passage from Luke 22:32 — “But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers”.
2232 MEN have a mission to bring all men to Jesus Christ and to show how our God and Father loves us and how He wants to be that foundation we need in our lives.
Creating an environment where men can build themselves up by building each other up is the goal of the 2232 Men movement.
Hundreds or men will gather for a day of prayer, dynamic speakers, reflection, adoration, opportunity for confessions and a final mass celebrated by our very own Bishop Lawrence Persico. Attendees will be sharing this experience with men from all walks of life and all parts of the Erie Diocese and beyond.
